Customised embedded sensors help get you closer to the ecosystems you are studying so you can understand them in more depth and detail.
I design electronics using industry-standard tools like Eagle CAD. They are programmed using open-source platforms such as Arduino so that they are ultimately open and modifiable by the end-user.
In addition to the electronic and firmware design, I use 3D modelling to develop printable supports and weather-resistant cases and enclosures.
Data Design

I provide data processing, analysis, and visualisation services on larger-than-memory datasets. Using data toolkits in Python such as Pandas, Dask, Numpy, Scipy, Scikits-Learn, and Statsmodels, and visualisation libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly, I can help you make sense of your data and present it in a meaningful and engaging way to your clients, readers, and peers.

My art practice focuses on creating visceral experiences of complexity by manipulating the feedback and scale of auditory, visual, and tactile processes.
I also have over 10 years of experience providing technical consulting, support, and contracting to artists. I can develop custom electronics and software, provide interaction design consulting, and technical services all while maintaining a broad view of the artistic vision for a work.
